The Forest Laboratory & The Plant Room for Center Parcs Whinfell
with Pier Pressure Escape Rooms
Pier Pressure Escape Rooms were contracted by Center Parcs to build three Escape Rooms. One at their Woburn location and two at their Whinfell location. I was hired as Project Manager and Game Design Consultant respectively.
Roles and responsibilities:
Center Parcs Woburn
- Project Manager - Directed the build from the start of construction at Pier Pressure HQ to the final install and launch at Center Parcs. This involved managing all members of the team, making executive decisions on fabrication, art-direction, and gameflow. I was also in charge of purchasing and sourcing materials and props where necessary.
- Puzzles and graphics - I assisted with some puzzle and graphic design where necessary.
Center Parcs in Whinfell.
- Game Design Consultant - Directed the build onsite, co-ordinating puzzle flow and documentation and , assisting with some puzzle and graphic design where necessary.
